The award-winning Grindhouse Radio, frequently referred to as GHR, is an internationally syndicated, pop culture talk series. As a trusted destination for an exponentially growing number of fans, the show’s popularity is, in part, thanks to guest stars like comic books legend Stan Lee, celebrated chef Chris Santos, Grammy-nominated singer J-Sutta, American voice actor Sean Schemmel, and so on.
Having premiered in 2015, the show has a rather eclectic cast consisting of seasoned professionals in entertainment. Brimstone’s, or William Kucmierowski’s professional titles include wrestler, radio host and podcaster, actor, author, musician, food critic, and model. Kim Adragna works as a model, actor, writer, producer, and brand influencer. While Tom Greer is an audio producer, editor, on-air radio talent, and sports fanatic.
Though the show has three main hosts, it also features other talent, including jack-of-all-traits Zambo, musician Guy Brogna, self-proclaimed geek Kevin Dempsey, and athlete/career woman Amy Palmiero-Winters.
According to the press release:
“GHR is essentially a show that is designed to appeal to everyone, from a group of not-so ‘normal’ people. Carefully crafted into a TWO HOUR talk radio show, the Grindhouse cast offers listeners their weekly pop culture fix of current news & events, comics, music, gadgets, gaming, sports and movies seamlessly blended into a precise format. A no holds barred, madhouse of mythological proportions, GHR aims to be the public's weekly fix for pop-culture, nerdisms and all around oddball topics that relate to media and celebrity.”
Some of GHR’s notable accolades in 2021 include the Gold AVA Digital Award for Audio Production/Radio Podcast and a Gold Award of Excellence|Individual Episodes, Entertainment Podcast for the 27th Annual Communicator Awards. Also, Adragna has been named a recipient of the Long Island Business News’, 30 Under 30 Award 2019 and Grindhouse Radio, which was a major topic of discussion at the European Planetary Science Congress 2018, making GHR a citable source for scientific and collegiate papers.
